Our beautiful mum, wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully recently (January 2010, aged 60), less than 2 months after diagnosis of this destructive disease. We were all fortunate to have been touched in our lives by this courageous, warm, funny, generous and kind lady. She may have been taken from us in such a cruel and untimely manner, but her spirit remains complete and her smile will always continue to melt hearts. Never the one to make a fuss of herself, and always thinking selflessly of others, she would without question, lovingly and whole heartedly support further awareness of and research into ovarian cancer A plaque dedicated to her and in her honour, will be displayed permanently at the new laboratories of the Ovarian Cancer Research Centre in London.
